Australian Orange

Oranges are a common and delicious fruit. It has abundant moisture, high sugar content, excellent taste and high use value and medicinal value. Orange peel taste sweet and bitter and warm, cough better than tangerine peel, is the treatment of cold cough, loss of appetite, chest abdominal swelling pain medicine.

According to official figures, Australia produced about 500,000 tons of oranges in fiscal year 2018-2019.

More common orange varieties in Australia include Summer Navel (Lane Late, Barnfield and Wilson), Valencia (Valencia), and Winter Navel (Washington, Navelina and Leng).

In the fiscal year 2016-2017, Australia exported 164,585 tons of oranges, among which 25,967 tons were exported to Hong Kong, China, and 34,159 tons were exported to mainland China.

Australia's main orange growing areas include Murray Valley in Victoria, Riverina in new south wales and Riverland in south Australia.
