Australian Plum
Plums are a common and delicious fruit. Its full round, exquisite, beautiful shape, taste sweet, widely loved in the world.
More common Plum varieties in Australia include Black Plum, Blue Plum, Red Plum, Blood Plum, Sugar Plum and President Plum.
In 2016, a new variety of plums named "Australian Queen Garnet" in Queensland, Australia, attracted worldwide attention. According to experimental data from the university of southern Queensland, this "super plum" is rich in Anthocyanins, and just eating one of these plums can provide the body with antioxidants it needs all day long. It is called "thin body li", it is healthy and natural fruit reducing weight. The slimming li has been exported to several countries, including China, and increased production in Australia to meet consumer demand.
In the 2016-2017 fiscal year, Australia exported 4,521 tons of plums, including 3,096 tons to Hong Kong, China. The main planting areas for Australian plums include Goulburn Valley, Melbourne Metropolitan Area and Mid Murray, Victoria; Central Tablelands, Griffith, Hunter Valley, Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, and New South Wales.
